Mountain Pose Meditation

A reflection from the Mind Sanctuary phone app.

Standing meditation cultivates stability, strength, and grounding.

How to practice: 1. Stand with feet hip-width apart, arms at your sides 2. Press all four corners of your feet into the ground 3. Imagine roots growing from your feet deep into the earth 4. Feel your body as stable and unmovable as a mountain 5. Breathe slowly, noticing the solid foundation beneath you 6. With each exhale, release tension, feel yourself settling more deeply

This practice is powerful when you feel scattered, anxious, or emotionally unstable.

Like a mountain, you have an unshakeable core. Meditation helps you find it.
